Upgrade FAQs

A digital upgrade is coming soon for online banking and mobile app users. We've answered some frequently asked questions below. Need additional information? Call us at 641-628-1566.

Login Instructions (Effective Monday, October 12)

  • How do I log into the new platform for the first time?
    • If you are using a mobile device, you will need to download our new app, LSB360, by searching for “Leighton State Bank” in the App Store or Google Play Store.  This app will not be available for download until Monday, October 12.
    • Your username will remain the same.
    • Personal account temporary passwords will be the last four digits of the account holder’s social security number.
      Business account temporary passwords will be the last four digits of the Tax ID.
    • You will be prompted to set up two-factor authentication for enhanced security.  Please follow the instructions on your screen.

  • What are the benefits of the digital upgrade?
    • We are enhancing your digital banking experience by providing consistent features and functions for a seamless experience between our mobile app and desktop platform.
    • By upgrading now, we will be able to roll out beneficial products and financial tools in the future.
    • The upgraded system will be compatible with Quicken, QuickBooks, and Mint.  Information for current Quicken users is available HERE .
    • If you use Bill Pay, payments made by check will come out when the payee cashes your check, not when the payment is initiated.
    • In-person deposits made until 5:00pm CST on regular business days will post the same day (effective October 13, 2020).

How to Prepare

  • What can I do to prepare?
    • Sign up for e-statements by logging into online banking, then select “Offers & Agreements” under “User Settings” on the sidebar. Follow the instructions on the screen to enroll.
    • If you will need access to your e-statements, please download them prior to October 7, 2020.
    • If you have a new phone number, email address, or address, please contact the bank at 641-628-1566 to update your information.

Timeline

Mobile App

  • Will I need to download a new app?

    Yes, if you use mobile banking on your smartphone you will need to download a new app, called “LSB360”.  You can find this app in the App Store or on Google Play by searching for “Leighton State Bank”.  The new app will not be available until October 12.

  • How do I log into the new app for the first time?

    Your username will not change, but you will need to establish a new password upon your initial login. Your temporary password will be the last four digits of the account holder’s social security number.  (Business account temporary passwords will be the last four digits of the Tax ID.)  You will be prompted to set up two-factor authentication for enhanced security.

Online Banking

Statements

  • Will I receive the same statements?

    Your new statements will have the same information as the current statements, although they will look slightly different.

  • Will my statement cycle change?
    • You may receive an additional or abbreviated statement in October. Your statement cycle may change after the upgrade (please note: statement cycles will not change for Kasasa accounts or customers who currently receive month-end statements).  Please use these guidelines to determine your new statement date (effective mid-October):

  • Will I be able to access previous e-statements?

    Immediately following the upgrade, you will have access to 120 days’ worth of transaction history. If you will need access to previous e-statements or transaction history going back more than 120 days, please print your e-statements on or before October 7.  Access to e-statements dating back more than 120 days will be added at a later date.
