I provide management leadership for the organization while working closely with Leighton State Bank's board of directors.

Education

BA in agricultural business from Dordt College; Graduate School of Banking - University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Why I love working at Leighton State Bank

The joy of being able to help customers achieve a financial goal is extremely satisfying. Right along with that is the reward of working with and guiding a great staff of employees who are passionate about their work and building relationships with customers.

Favorite way LSB gives back

The bank encourages each employee to give of their time to support local causes they may be passionate about, and we help support that by granting paid “Volunteer Time Off” when employees do that.

Hobbies/Family

I love the great outdoors and particularly enjoy camping and trout fishing in Northeast Iowa. Service for non-profits also brings me satisfaction, but the greatest joy comes from family time and particularly being a grandparent to an increasing number of little ones that have joined our family ranks in recent years.
