Relationship Loan Support Specialist – Commercial and Ag Lending

Do you enjoy working in a collaborative and challenging work environment? Would you enjoy being part of a team that supports our Lending Department in building relationships and providing outstanding customer service? If so, then Leighton State Bank has a great opportunity for you in our Commercial and Ag Lending department. We have a position open for a full-time Relationship Loan Support Specialist working in our Commercial and Ag Lending department in our Pella location. Since this position plays an integral part in the success of the bank, we are seeking motivated team members who are detail oriented, highly organized, emphasize accuracy and have strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist loan officers in accurately and efficiently processing and completing quality loans;
  • Support loan officer efforts to maintain and achieve loan portfolio accuracy, organization and structure;
  • Gather, organize and evaluate information required for the Loan Officer to make a quality loan decision and provide support for the loan closing process;
  • Maintain records and tracking documentation to ensure information is available to complete loan and credit files;
  • Process customer loan transactions including payments and advances and respond to loan relationship inquires;
  • Communicate proactively with co-workers, borrowers and third parties to ensure loan related tasks are completed according to established deadlines;
  • Prepare and process notices and communications related to customer loans;
  • Facilitate collection of loans and balances owed to the bank;

 

Relationship Retail Specialist

Are you a naturally enthusiastic individual with a ready smile and a willingness to create a positive experience for our customers? If so – then Leighton State Bank has an exciting opportunity for you! We currently have a position open for a full-time relationship specialist primarily working in our Drive-up location. This is a 40-hour a week position that would include a rotation of Saturday mornings.

Since this position plays an integral part in the success of the bank, we are seeking an individual who enjoys interacting with the public, has a professional demeanor, a keen attention to details and outstanding customer service skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build strong customer relationship by greeting and welcoming customers to the bank;
  • Process customer account transactions efficiently and accurately and in compliance with bank procedures and regulatory requirements; Accurately balance cash drawers;
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of customer information;
  • Service new and existing deposit account relationships;
  • Resolve customer inquiries;
  • Become familiar with banking products and services in order to identify customer needs and recommend products that contribute to their financial success;

 

Relationship Retail Specialist with Loan Support (Monroe branch)

Leighton State Bank has a position for a full-time relationship retail specialist that will also provide support for our loan department. This is a 40-hour a week position that would include a rotation of Saturday mornings and will be located in our Monroe branch.

The ideal candidate will build strong customer relations by welcoming customers to the bank, process their account transactions efficiently and accurately, maintain the security and confidentiality of customer information, resolve customer inquiries, and support the loan department to achieve and maintain loan portfolio accuracy, organization and structure.

Since this position plays an integral part in the success of the bank, we are seeking a team member who enjoys interacting with the public, has a professional demeanor, a keen attention to detail, is highly organized and has outstanding customer service skills.

 

Relationship Banker

Are you a naturally enthusiastic individual with a ready smile and a willingness to create a positive experience for our customers? Do you enjoy building and maintaining relationships and have a desire to help our customers grow financially strong? Then Leighton State Bank has an exciting opportunity for you! We currently have a full-time position open for a Relationship Banker that would include a rotation of Saturday mornings.

Since this position plays an integral part in the success of the bank, we are seeking an individual who enjoys interacting with the public, has a professional demeanor, a keen attention to details and outstanding customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and warmly welcome customers to the bank;
  • Competently assist customers in establishing banking relationships including consumer and business accounts, Certificates of Deposit, and other products and services in accordance with bank procedures and regulatory requirements;
  • Maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the products and services offered by the bank; assist customers in determining best options by assessing and identifying customer needs and recommending products that contribute to their financial success;
  • Provide on-going support for existing deposit account relationships; Respond to customer inquiries and assist with customer issues;
  • Process customer account transactions efficiently and accurately and in compliance with bank procedures and regulatory requirements; Accurately balance cash drawers;
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of customer information;

In 1911 we opened our doors as Farmers Savings Bank in Leighton. As a true community bank, we started with a goal to represent the interest of our local customers and shareholders.

In 1997, LSB established a location in the Dutch community of Pella. As our outreach to customers grew, so did our footprint as we expanded to our current home on Washington Street.

LSB acquired Monroe State Bank in 2014, expanding our services to the Monroe community.

In more than 100 years, we’ve expanded our locations and our services but our commitment to our customers has remained the same. Our mission is to equip you to grow financially strong.
