Do you enjoy working as a team in a collaborative and challenging work environment? Would you enjoy being part of a team that supports our Branch and Lending Department in building relationships and providing outstanding customer service? If so, then Leighton State Bank has a great opportunity for you in our Commercial and Ag Lending department. We have a position open for a full-time Relationship Portfolio Associate that will collaborate with and provide support to our Commercial and Ag Lending department primarily from our Leighton, Iowa branch location. This position will have opportunity for growth as well as developing more of the bank’s “East” market. Since this position plays an integral part in the success of the bank, we are seeking motivated team members who can be versatile, are detail oriented, highly organized, emphasize accuracy and have strong skills in developing solutions to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Positively respond to customer inquiries; by phone, email or in person; Resolve issues and develop solutions with customer’s accounts.
- Assist loan officers in accurately and efficiently processing and completing quality loans
- Assist loan team with timely and accurate completion of credit presentations, including analysis of appropriate data per credit policy, bank procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Gather, organize and evaluate information required for the Loan Officer to make a quality loan decision and provide support for the loan closing process
- Record transactions promptly, accurately, securely and in compliance with bank procedures and regulatory requirements
- Communicate proactively with co-workers, borrowers and third parties to ensure loan related tasks are completed according to established deadlines
- Assist in branch support by completing basic bank transactions and respond to basic bank customer inquiries
