Administrative Assistant- Leighton Investment Services

Are you a naturally enthusiastic individual with a ready smile and a willingness to create a positive experience for our clients? If so, then Leighton State Bank has an exciting opportunity for you in our Leighton Investment Services Division! We currently have a position open for an Administrative Assistant who enjoys interacting with the public, has a professional demeanor, a keen attention to detail, is highly organized and has outstanding customer service skills. Although this position is full time, we will also consider candidates interested in working part time.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Warmly and professionally greet and respond to existing or prospective client inquiries in person or on the phone ensuring a positive experience.
  • Responsively and accurately provide requested information or make referrals to appropriate brokerage division staff members.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of client information.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of available investment products and services so that inquiries can be appropriately directed.
  • Maintain master staff member schedules and remain informed about staff member availability.
  • Perform clerical duties and administrative support work needed to foster effective client interaction and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Opportunity for advancement into other investment and advice related position with increased knowledge and proficiency in investment products and industry.

In 1911 we opened our doors as Farmers Savings Bank in Leighton. As a true community bank, we started with a goal to represent the interest of our local customers and shareholders.

In 1997, LSB established a location in the Dutch community of Pella. As our outreach to customers grew, so did our footprint as we expanded to our current home on Washington Street.

LSB acquired Monroe State Bank in 2014, expanding our services to the Monroe community.

In more than 100 years, we’ve expanded our locations and our services but our commitment to our customers has remained the same. Our mission is to equip you to grow financially strong.
