LSB’s Knoxville Branch Closed Due to Structural Concerns

This morning, structural concerns developed on the north (alley) side of Leighton State Bank’s temporary location at 207 East Main Street in Knoxville.

“Concerns with the building are being assessed and evaluated by the Knoxville Fire Department, the building inspector, and a contractor hired on behalf of the building owner,” said Steve Fopma, LSB President & CEO. “We have been ordered to close the location as a precaution. For the immediate future, we are prepared to serve our Knoxville customers at our Pella, Monroe, and Leighton branches, as well as through our mobile channels.”

At this time, a re-opening timeframe is not known. Pending assessment, further information will be available on our website, leightonbank.com, and will also be communicated to KNIA-KRLS. Customers are encouraged to call the Pella branch at 641-628-1566 with any questions or concerns.
